Our Youth Horsemanship Programs offer children quality interactions with horses and a team of equine professionals. Curriculum-based lessons and enrichment activities provide children with a sound foundation in horsemanship as well as many smiles along the way. Individualized attention and flexibility allow for each child to make the most of their time spent at Windfall Ranch.
Bethany Pappani Training takes your child’s safety very seriously, therefore we ensure the following:
All riders are required to wear a safety helmet at all times.
All riders are educated on ranch rules and horse safety guidelines.
All staff members are CPR/First Aid certified.
All staff members have been fingerprinted with the State of California.
All staff members have 20+ years equine experience.
Relatives and Friends are always welcome to observe lessons in progress.
Cameras are encouraged for memorable moments.

Our Programs:
After-School Enrichment
Program includes group riding lesson, mounted team exercises, physical education component, and enrichment activities including: art, music, and nature exploration. Homework Help available by request. Snack and Bottled Water are provided.

Charter School Classes
Students receive physical education or elective credits through participation in this individualized 8-week program. Students explore basic horse handling and care, followed by mounted riding lessons. Home-based assignments include physical conditioning and curriculum-based activities improving their understanding of learned skills.

Summer Camps
Beginner to Advanced 3-Day and 5-Day Camps provide a foundation in basic horsemanship or refinement of skills. Curriculum includes group riding lessons, fun games and art opportunities, equine field trips, nature exploration, and water play for those hot days. Program open to children ages 5+.

Working Student Opportunities
Work one-on-one with Bethany Pappani to gain insight into the equine field. Students will work at Windfall Ranch in exchange for horseback riding lessons and exclusive access to specialized clinics, events, trail experiences, and competitions.
Minimum Time Dedication Required. Open to Students of All Ages.
